After completing the Colorado tour of our bi-lingual Spanish-English program Shapeshifting/Transformaciones (with the Borealis students as apprentices) and their Graduation on May 29, we undertook a tour to three cities in Mexico of several versions of the program. David-Michael went a week ahead to give workshops and introductions to eurythmy and the tour, and then the whole company arrived to perform and give more workshops and classes for adults and children in Mexico City (at CENART, the National Center for the Arts), Guanajuato (at the Teatro Principal) and Cuernavaca (at the Museo de Ciudad Cuernavaca). Hundreds of people of all ages SAW and/or DID eurythmy for the first time – – and the reception to all our efforts was quite extraordinary, with many people also expressing an interest in helping to found a Mexican eurythmy training!
Then, at the end of June, the final event of the SCE Training was the visit to the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland, to be part of the annual Abschlusstreffen (Graduation Meeting) together with graduating students and teachers from around the world. The Borealis performed excerpts from their Graduation program, while SCE directors David-Michael and Glenda performed as part of the Faculty evening performance in the large Hall – – always a privilege and an honor!
After that everyone dispersed, to continue travels in Europe, take up next tasks, return to families, etc.
